To remove any doubt about the encoders, try making the wheels move by unconditionally setting power to them (i.e. in tele-op using joysticks or just setting the power to 100% from the beginning of the op-mode to the end, etc.).

Did you actually use Code Device Discovery to move the motors and servos?

Some of our motors will not run

    Hi there,

After lots of complications, we finally got our code working today. Only two out of the four motors we have move when they are supposed to. The other two motors, as well as our two servos, do not move when they are called. I am fairly sure that the code is not the issue, because the code for the motors that are running and the motors that are not running are virtually identical, save the buttons pressed to set their power. We used the Core Device Discovery software to ensure that all modules are receiving power. If the motors and servos that aren't working weren't receiving power, we would get a "device not found with the name "..."" error, right? Is it possible that our encoders are the issue?

Does anybody have any ideas or tips?

    Thanks!
