  • Programming Servos with Trigger Buttons

    Hello FTC friends,

We are wanting to program servos using the trigger buttons. I can't remember where I saw the file that had what type of value each button returned on the gamepad. I think the triggers are analogue; but not sure how to program. We want the non-continuos servo to go to a position when pushed, then return to original starting position when not pushed. We tried using the logic = block and put left trigger in the first spot and a logic "True" block in the second in our if statement but this did not work - no movement in servos at all. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Jack and PI Guys

    This document
    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...h.m2cel7kv3uud
gives the information about the values of the gamepad blocks.

The triggers are numeric values between 0.0 and 1.0, so you'll want to use a number comparison block instead of a logic = blocks and "true".
