  • Encoder pulses per revolution?

I am using the AndyMark NeveRest 40 motor with the new motor controllers, and according to the documentation, it should be getting 7*40 = 280 pulses per revolution. However, I am reading approximately 1200 pulses per revolution (plus or minus 100 possibly), so I was wondering what is going on. Thanks!

The number you want is 1120

    Farther down in the specs:
Output pulse per revolution of Output Shaft (ppr): 1120 (280 rises of Channel A)
Output pulse per revolution of encoder shaft (ppr): 28 (7 rises of Channel A)
