  • REV Expansion Hub Firmware Upgrade Issue

    We're having a problem connecting to one of our REV Expansion Hubs via a PC and USB cable to update the firmware.

    When we plug in the USB cable to the computer we get the following error message from Windows:

    'Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)'

    We've successfully updated our second (and primary) REV Expansion Hub using the same method without issue. We've tried using three different computers and receive the same message. All the computers are running Windows 10 64-bit.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    UPDATE...

    We spoke with REV customer support and it appears to be an issue with the USB port. REV support was great to work with and was able to get us a refurbished model in time for our tournament. Everything is working correctly now.
