    Programing Questions

My team is new to the First Tech Challenge program, and we have some questions. We have an gate mechanism that traps particles and a que stick that pushes them into the corner vertices, and we would like to know if there is a way to have the buttons operate them for a given amount of time. We would also like to know if there is a way to make the motors go slower than 0. Thanks if you have any advice for us, we appreciate it.

If the motor is set to zero, it shouldn't be moving.

One way is in the sdk folder look in docs, javadocs, open index. On the left scroll down to elapsed time and click on that.

An example of using those commands is in the example program NullOp. In Android Studio click on FTCRobotController and follow the folders down to exernal.samples to find NullOp. The one command you need that isn't in the example is .time which is found in the javadoc above.
