From the definition of Scored:
"Scored - A baton is scored if the baton is not Posssessed by a robot of the same Alliance color as the goal ..."

The definition only talks about going in reverse or spinning. What about going forward? Also, what direction is considered forward/backward? Doesn't this depend on what side of the field you are on?
Forward and backward as referenced, are with respect to the robot and are independent of the position (or orientation) of the robot.

A: Yes, they would count for 2 points as long as they were dispensed during the Autonomous Period. Also, make sure that the robot does not possess more than 5 batons.

Electro Magnets?

A1: Yes, this does not violate any rules and would be allowed.
A2: No, this action would violate the rules concerning battery usage <R5>a4, <R5>b8, and <R17>a.
